Saturday dawned - windless, sunny, warm; a great day for racing.  Up early to pack the bike, the bottles, the gels, the shoes, the helmet - oops, someone forgot their helmet!  Just as well, someone else had a spare.....

It was a change of course - from Ararimu to Ramarama - which produced a sigh of relief from some.  The fields were smaller, the riding was strong and the racing was tight.  It was good to see the commissaires circulating on the course, making sure we were okay and keeping us safe - it is truly appreciated by all the riders.

At the end, we had some new old champions, some old new champions, some old champions and some brand new ones.  Plenty of medals handed out to worthy winners - and didn't they look smart in their cycling kits at the ceremonies. Link to Results
